The sustainable national party, SNP, wants the Nigerian government to handle the issue of herders/farmers clashes as a major threat to national unity and economic development.
National chairman of the party, Kayode Micheal-Arimoro gave the advice in Abuja at the party’s maiden news conference put together to create public awareness of its existence
Arimoro said the federal government’s cattle colony policy will create more security challenges and so should be disregarded at this critical stage.
The new political party also expressed concern over the poor economic and infrastructure development of the country, stating that it has what it takes to resolve the challenges for the overall good of Nigerians.
The SNP believes that conceiving, implementing and adhering to sustainability practices in all institutions will ensure that the nation and its people live up to its expectations.
